AX1800 with EERO PRO 6E

can i use the AX1800 as a range extender connected wirelessly to my Eero Pro 6e mesh router? and if so, how? when I'm using the Nighthawk app, i get thru all of the steps (added ssid and password) but when it tries to connect to the Eero network, it keeps saying "retry"...
