Below freezing temperature operation
I currently have a Nighthawk Mesh system in place and get GREAT coverage. However, in order to get that GREAT signal to my workshop I have had to place one of the MS60 satellites in a shelter midway to the shop from the house where the router is located.
While this is working great at the moment, I'm concerned about this setup in the depth of a Minnesota winter. The shelter is NOT heated and although the MS60 will be protected from the snow and wind, the temperature will be equal to the ambient temperature outside.
Considering the MS60 satallite generates some heat on its own, I'm considering putting it inside a styrofoam cooler when the normal outside temperatures drop to below freezing.
I'm open to any and all suggestions to keep that GREAT signal in my workshop in the winter.
