Best extender for C6250?

As we are moving into full on work/school from home mode my house is looking to strengthen our wifi so we can all be on video calls successfully. We are considering getting an extender, but unsure of the best option. Any advce is greatly appreciated!

 

Our house is about 2,000 sq ft. and has a very open concept downstairs. Bedrooms are upstairs and the router is located in the largest bedroom. The only place the wifi doesn't seem to reach is parts of our backyard (the other end of the house from where the router is). We can't really move the router to a more central location- hence looking into the extender option. 

 

Current internet plan through xfinity is 200mbps, which we are using for four people. 

 

What might be the best extender for our situation and the C6250 AC1600 modem/router?

    I'd recommend the tri-band line of extenders. These include the EX7500, EX7700, EX8000. 2 of the orbi satellites can also act as triband extenders. That'd be the RBS40V and the RBS50Y. 

     

    Reason why is they reserve 1 of their 2x 5ghz bands just for router---extender communication. This makes them faster than standard extenders as the standard ones take a 50% throughput hit just based off how they funciton.
