Best extender to pair with C7800

I am wondering if anyone has had any sucess with pairing an extender to the 

NIGHTHAWK X4S DOCSIS® 3.1 ULTRA-HIGH SPEED CABLE MODEM ROUTER

Model: C7800

 

if so which did you find worked best?

    A EX8000 triband mesh extender would give the best speeds.  The EX7500 and EX7700 are other possibilities.
