Best router and extender/mesh system for wifi between metal buildings

So currently we have a large 2-3k sq ft that has a wifi router in the center of the building. We're trying to get wifi to a different metal building that is about 30-40 yds from the main building. We currently have an extender but it shows no internet connection but is connected to the wifi. Looking at what the best option would be for our setup. Any help would be appreciated.

The "A" solution is to install an Ethernet cable between the router and the other building.  The actual cable cost is trivial.  Installation can be expensive. This totally avoids the need to provide electrical power at multiple locations, make holes in building walls, etc.

Another solution is to use a "wireless point-to-point bridge" to "jump the gap" and appear on both ends to be Ethernet.

Search Amazon and read the user comments on the problems they solved with these units.

If there are windows (or you can cut holes) in the walls, then indoor satellites can be placed in each building to get across the gap.
