That's not what I was asking.
Anyway, at this stage the best bet (unless someone thinks differently), is to keep my WNDR3300 in the basement as the primary router and simply use a second router in my office as an access point.
I setup the AC66U to do this and my signal is better than ever. Now I'm at the point of debating whether or not to keep the ASUS or return it for the R6300 now that I'm not going to attempt to wall mount it.
The real reality is, do I truly need AC? It's only draft, but I'm assuming it will be finalized via firmware yeah? Regardless, the goal right now is to achieve the best WiFi signal off this secondary router as that's the SSID I'll connect to.
Any advice/input on AC66U vs. R6300? Been reading many reviews that favor one over the other ... mixed reviews all over the place; however ASUS appears to win more so than NetGear.
