Best Wifi extender for Nighthawk CAX30
Hi, first let me start with I am sure this has been asked before but I genuinely have spent hours trying to figure this out and I'm not that tech-savvy so I'm not sure if what I'm reading applies to my case.
I have a Netgear Nighthawk CAX30 AX2700 3.1 that I currently use with xfinity wifi that is generally around 250mbps download speeds (says up to 500 but that's its average)
What is my best option for extending my wifi range? I am trying to make my ring cameras on the garage (150 feet and 2-3 walls away) get better connection, they do connect now but it's not fantastic and I'll probably be using more cameras. Other than that I'm mainly just using wifi for TV and regular devices.
Is this a mesh system? (I don't even know what that means even after reading a ton) and will whatever extender I use work best if it's plugged into an ethernet?
Thank you all for any advice. I am new to home ownership and this house didn't even have cable brought into it so I'm learning everything from scratch.

150 feet maybe a stretch with out a ethernet connection and wired AP from the CAX30 to the garage area that far away.
It's already connecting and I'd say it's about a 5/10. Works for the most part but I would like it to be a bit better, so with it already working wouldn't a wifi extender (placed more towards the garage) help improve that connection?
I just have no idea what type of wifi extender is needed. I seriously can't figure out the difference between mesh, AC, AX etc!
