Beware of SCAM Netgear Wifi Extender
Don't make the same mistake I did! A chat window popped up when I was on the support site for the Netgear extender and asked for my phone number so they could help me further. I stupidly gave it to them and allowed the tech support person to "remove all the unauthorized users who were signed into my network" They showed me the list with a big FOREIGN user at the top and I fell for it. I took advantage of the discounted price because I was a Netgear user already and paid $200 for a three-year contract. I realized as soon as I hung up that I had been scammed and called my credit card company immediately. The company making the charge was Mindtree Infotech. I hope this post helps someone else from making the same mistake I did.
