Blue Light on Client LED on EX6150

I just bought a Netgear AC1200 EX6150. I followed the setup instructions precisely. Using the WPS option, I was able to connect my wifi extender to my existing wifi network. However, when attempting to connect any device, the Client LED light will switch from not illuminated to BLUE. My devices give differing error messages when this happens from "Cannot connect to XXXXX_2GEXT" or "Password incorrect". After the error, the Client LED will switch back to not illuminated. Clearly its not a password issue as I can still login to my base wifi network. There is no instruction for what to do in the event this indicator lights BLUE. Please assist.
