Boosting Wifi Signal Question
Hello, I need some advise regarding boosting a wifi signal between two houses. I live next door but one to my parents in a mid terrace house and I'd like a good wifi signal there from my router ...

The distance between mine and their front windows (which is the best location for a signal to exit and enter) is no more than 10m.
I like the sound of AirBridge but looking at their specifications, it appears you'll need line-of-sight which is an issue as there is a house in between us.
Nice idea though :)

The house in between is going to be an issue with extenders or point to point.
Point to point might still be the route to go but elevate it. for 10m, airbridge might be overkill. there's cheaper alternatives.

plemansI did wonder if a non line-of-sight repeater might have some luck in transmitting the signal out of the windows of my house and to some degree in the windows of the receiving house; quite a tall order but I thought might be worth trying.
I'm thinking along the lines of a wireless signal inside a building or a mobile signal. They're not designed for line-of-sight however they still work. I was thinking where line-of-sight is concerned that I would have less luck as it is specifically designed to work that way but impossible for me to implement.
In tidying up I have come across an old DGND3300 which has a repeater function built in. I'm having trouble setting it up so I'll open another thread in the appropriate place.
Even if I don't use it for this purpose, I'll have another use for it so whatever I learn won't go to waste!!
