Bought two AX8 Extender's. ? on how to set-up the 2nd AX8
When I add the 2nd extender via the app the 1st extender disconnects from my netgear home router network. How do I connect the 2nd w/out disconnecting the 1st?

Which AX8 extenders are we talking about? The EAX80?
AX8 is not a reliable guide to model number. Many devices come with an AX tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and other brands, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
Look at the label on the device for the model number.
And what is the router in front of these extenders?

Are you planning on upgrading the router to mesh with the AX extenders?
If so, i'd return the extenders (if possible) and just switch from the start to a full mesh system. If you're not planning on upgrading the router, the EX8000 will get you the same performance (maybe a little more because of its dedicated backhaul) than the EAX80.
(dang, just looked on amazon and the eax80 is actually cheaper.)

I wasn't planning to since the info on the EAX80 states it's backward compatible.

The EAX80 will work with it for sure. It is backwards compatible.
Just didn't know if you planned on upgrading the router to AX since both extenders will be.
