c3700

Hello... I like my C3700 Netgear M600...

 

Has anyone every used an extender with this and if so which is best to use. My shop is out in yard and I can get enough signal for my wireless camera.. I do but is flaky even in a window.??

    Not a bad modem in its time but that is an old/slow modem/router combo device. Not sure if I"d invest in an extender or check into upgrading to something like a mesh system for more coverage. 

    Again, I'm not a fan of throwing away good electronics but that modem is an old N600 device. We've now had wireless AC, AX, AX (6ghz), and BE. So its multiple generations behind in speed/performance. Not sure how long it'll even be supported by ISP as its modem was a base model modem integrated.
