Can’t connect devices to extender

I have set up my extender and am ready to use it. However, when I try to connect my devices, it tells me my WiFi password is incorrect. I am using the same password as I always do for my regular WiFi ...

which centurylink router? 

Have you tried reinstalling it using the installation wizard? (Not wps)

It is a 802.1 1n router through century link. I have not tried the other method yet.

    centurylink has many routers. An actual model helps. 

    But try the installation assistant first

      I can’t use the installation assistant because my laptop won’t connect the the extender.

        Where is it failing in the process? 

        What error is it giving you? 

        Did you try factory resetting the extender? push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while its fully powered on?
