You have put the EX6120 into AP mode?

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
Check the section in the manual Use the Extender in Access Point Mode
In the beginning when trying to setup after factory reseting it, if the Ethernet cable was plugged in the Netgear extender it wouldn’t let me login to it’s interface to set it up.
Every time you reset the device, it reverts to extender mode.
