That's correct. I should've included the router to begin with, sorry. Router is an Arris Surfboard SBG7600AC2. I use a 13" Macbook Pro.

You've said the extender works fine.
I hate to be dense but you're on a netgear forum asking why your arris router isn't working properly. Why aren't you asking Arris or their forum when they're the expert on their device?

If you have advice, it's quicker to go there first instead of us going back and forth on my explanation of where I've been prior. But since you insist:
I have asked Arris, they told me it was Comcast's issue and it took me 8 months to convince them to replace the router, the issue persists, and the Netgear product is working. Considering that the Netgear product is working, and that I'm not the only person that uses the Netgear product, I was hoping to get some advice from people who may have had similar experiences or have more knowledge than I do with a product that still allows access.
If you have advice, I'd appreciate it.
