Can I use 2 N300 extenders on the same network?

I think this has been asked/answered but wish to clarify.  I have a WNDR3700 router in my 'computer room' along with a N300 extender in my garage and it seems to work fine.  I would like to use a sec...

That's correct.  It is strongly recommended that each extender connect to the router's Wi-Fi network.  Do not piggy-back extenders.  The performance drop (as much as 75%) may not be acceptable.

    Thank you.  I'd planned to attach each to the router individually in parallel and not to each other in series. Parallel should work though, right?
