Can I use my EX6100v2 Range Extender as an Ethernet to Wi-Fi adapter?

Hi,

Had an AC750 Range Extender lying around and was wondeirng if I could use it as a simple ethernet to Wi-Fi adapter.

My plan is to run an ethernet cable from my router through a wall, and then have the AC750 on the other end where it could put out a signal, so I can keep everything on the same LAN.  If I can't do this, is there any way I could use the range extender while keeping everything on the same LAN?  I'm doing this for in-home game streaming than requires everything to be on the same LAN, so the same SSIDs on different networks isn't an option.

Thanks

  • yes you can do that. The EX6100v2 as access point mode. Thats what you're looking for.
