Can you connect an Access Point to the Ethernet port on an Extender (X7700)
Hey, I have two X7700 devices which work as either Extenders or Access Points. I want to create an Access Point by connecting it via ethernet to the output port of an existing extender. Like this....
Small update for future reference. I setup the extenders as two access points and everything worked fine.
Router ---Powerline adapter (ethernet)---> X7700 Access Point ---Ethernet---> X7700 Access Point
I was able to connect to the internet through the second chained X7700 both wirelessly and wired. I'm going to go back and see if I can troubleshoot the original setup. It must has been the wireless link between my Virgin Hub and the first X7700 setup as an extender.
