Can you use a Nighthawk X8 AC5300 as an extender/satellite on an Orbi RBR50 rounter?

I've run an ethernet connection from the router to a deadzone part of the house looking to connect an extender/satellite.  I have a Nighthawk X8 AC5300 router I'm not using and wondering if I can use it as the extender/satellite with my Orbi RBR50 router.  Any help would be appreciated.
