Cannot access NETGEAR WG602 Control Panel

The problem is if I connect the Netgear wireless router directly to the ethernet cable, it will not be long enough to reach where I need it to be upstairs... with this being said, can I still have the Netgear wireless router connected to the modem through the Dynex wired router and access the cPanel of Netgear wireless router?
