I am going through the manual and do not see your reference to a Wizard.
Could you please let me know where I can find that?
I'm not a huge fan of the app as many things can influence its function such as the router you're connected to. Or when its running mesh, you might be connected to the router and thats why you get that result.
What router are you using?
Modem?
A couple things you can try.
1. connec to your main router. it should have an attached devices page or along that lines depending on device. This list should have the ip address for your extender. Use the IP address for the extender to access it.
2. Hardwire into the extender with a laptop/desktop. Make sure to disable wireless on whatever you're using. many times the pc/laptop will keep using the wireless if its on.
3. If you reset it, it should give you the default wireless SSID again. You can reset it, connect to the default ssid, and then go through the smart installation wizard. Keep in mind, if you set it up in Mesh, it'll use the same ssid as the router.
