cannot connect to router from extender
I'm not very familiar with the networking jargon but I have read other posts regarding this.
I just bought a Netgear WN3000RP Extender to extend the range of my WNR834B Netgear router. I've gone through the setup procedures through 5 steps. All 4 lights on my Extender are lit green correctly.
After I select the Box saying at Step 5
"Select this checkbox once you have connected the ... wireless device to the Extender. The PC to Extender LED should be lit."
I press continue and end up at another URL where it says IE cannot display the web page. URL = www.mywifiext.net/IA_review_all.htm.
What do I do from here?
Also, will I have to do this setup for all devices using the Extender?

- initially you need to use pc wired the ethernet port and setup first.

The instructions never said anything about using the ethernet port. Am I supposed to connect the laptop to the Extender with an ethernet cable?
Set up what first?
I'm trying to use a laptop to connect to the extender.
Thanks, philr - you need to use ETHERNET CABE to the network ports on extender to setup initially.
