Can't access E6200
Yesteday I set up an EX6200 as an extender (or bridge) to a TP-Link AC1700 router via the WPS buttons for 2.4 and 5 GHz, then positioned the the unit where I want it. It shows on my Win 7 x64 laptop ...

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll get to it this week and report the results.

I did the factory reset and everything proceeded ok using my laptop, especially once I realized that I had mistyped in setting a password. Then things went downhill, as the multiple username and password settings with 2.4G and 5G in Netgear are seriously confusing. I write them down, but It's impossible to tell from the settings screens where the username and/or passwords apply. Then one minute there's 5G connectivity to the Netgear. Then another, I reset passwords and it shows me successfully connected to the existing WiFi network, but the 5G password has disappeared! And on the next I've completely lost my main router connection and it wants a guest password (there isn't one, never used it). And now I've completely lost my cable internet connection.
So, power cycles and reboots later, my main computer is back up everything works...except connecting the laptop to the Netgear. Not one password recognized and thus mywifiext.net page shows I'm not connected to the extender's wifi network. Perhaps I need to start with reset again?

Have you told the laptop to forget the old network then try to connect to it again?

Thanks. I deleted the two Netgear entries in Manage Wi-Fi (Win 7), but Wireless Network Connection in the sys tray still shows both. What am I missing?

Hello highstream
yes it still should show up that is where you would want to try and connect to them again what you did was tell your computer to forget the old network settings so when you connect now it should save the new ones.
