What is the router model this extender will be connected to? - RCA BROADBAND DIGITAL DWG855TLG
What is the firmware version running on your WN3000RP? The latest version.
What is the IP address of your Router? IPv4 is 192.168.0.35
What is the IP address received on your wireless clients? anything from 192.168.0.1
If you have a wired computer kindly connect it with an Ethernet cable to the WN3000RP and check if you get a valid IP address from your router. Already tried this; do not get a valid IP address
Hi Pater1946, I suggest you these steps below:
1. Perform a factory reset on this unit.
2. Connect wired or wireless to the extender SSID.
3. If you will not get a valid IP address set a static IP address of 192.168.0.50(just an example).
4. Access the extender's GUI through 192.168.0.250.
5. Once login kindly set a static values for the extender:
IP: 192.168.0.250
SM : 255.255.255.0
DG : 192.168.0.35 (Router's IP address)
6. Connect the extender to the router's SSID. Make sure to fill the right credentials of the router.
Let me know if this works.
