Cant install driver for WNDA3100
So, i bought my WNDA3100 a couple of weeks back, worked fine for about a week then it started disconnecting me from the network, so i reinstalled the driver and it stopped, for a day or so. Then yesterday i couldnt connect to any network, and i neither can install the driver for it.
But when i enter Device manager, and under Network adapters there is a "Remote Download Wireless Adapter" that only appears once ive inserted the adapter. If i try to manually search for the driver, the only thing that comes is "Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attemting to install it" and "A device attached to the system is not functioning" But im really certain that the adapter arent 'broken', as i could install it on my laptop and it worked fine there.
If i try to install the driver, it comes up a error message saying : "Error (0x0000001F), and in the top bar it says SupTools. I have no idea what that is. And if i just click Ok, it is just saying "Installing netgear WNDA3100v2, please wait" And it just stays like that forever.
So anyone have any idea how to fix this? Ive tried live chat but to no help..
Im also using a Windows 7 64bit fyi.
