I dug the EX3700 out of my "Box of Stuff". Oh, my. Things have changed since 2018 when this device came on the market. WiFi extenders are so inexpensive now that I would be likely to purchase a modern one. Anyway....

I got this device in a bargain bucket so it was worth a shot for a fairly simple task, otherwise I would have gone something more modern as you suggest.
