Channel Change Option
I cannot change the channel that wi fi extender connects to, I want to connect to channel 1 but the channel field is grayed out and set to channel 11. Is there a way to chane to the best channel?
I couldn't find a straight manual for that device but I did find how to login to it. You can use this to login to it. You should be able to navigate within this to the wireless settings to select the channel.

Best way to determine channel is with a wireless channel scanner to see what is the most congested. Channels 1-6-11 is recommended.

Again a wireless channel scanner is the best way to determine this. There's free pc programs or free ones for your phone you can download and install. You do the scan and see if 1-6-11 is the best.
