cm500v No resereved IP Address

I purchased a new cable modem CM500V.  After a long day, I got it working, however,  I have a device that I need to have onto it that needs a reserve IP address.  None of the info I have found so far helps me any.  What they tell me to do is not available when I get into the router menu.  Any suggestions?

    The CM500 is not a router you will have to connect to your routers interface to set that up.
