Computers stopped connecting to my Nighthawk X65AC3000

At this moment I am managing to hold a connection from my upstairs office PC to the main router from downstairs. Nothing else needs to connect to the Nighthawk. I fly off for a two week vacation on 7th April so last minute organisiation has made me a bit sluggish in trying for a proper solution but I would still like a more dependable connection upstairs. I will try again with "pleman's" suggestions if I can before leaving but if I cannot I may have to clear my head in the sun for a couple of weeks and try it when I return after 21st April so please don't think I am not appreciative of your assistance in the meantime.
