I have done factory reset and again used the APP to connect. The bar code is not recognised so I just followed instructions. All looked well and connected then when I placed it back up stairs, thought still showing full connection, my upstairs PC (and any other item) would not pick up the extender. I reset again and then manually connected, this time setting it as a separate name so I could identify it against my router. Again, the router showed faintly, the extender with a full signal but nothing would connect to it. Everything I have checked online, and on the Netgear website just tells me to two routes to reconnect and they seem to work but I cannot connect. I think it might be time to give up and buy a new extender.
