configure wnr2000 as access point
Hi I have a CVG824G wireless modem/router supplied by my ISP and I have a 30m ethernet cable connecting a laptop in my garage. Unfortunately wireless extenders still wont get the signal down there...

The reason your post doesn't immediately show up is there is a delay in your post appearing as all posts have to be approved by a moderator before they are displayed - I deleted the duplicate.
Start by disconnecting the WNR2000 from the network leaving just one cable connection between it and the computer you are using to configure it, then reset it to factory defaults by holding the reset button for around 30 seconds or so - at that point you should be able to access it at the default address which I believe is 192.168.1.1.
