Connect EX6150 Extender to Linksys E9450 Router

Question

I have had the EX6150 for a year and have used it with my Netgear router fine.&nbsp; When I replaced the Netgear router with a Linksys E9450 router, I can't connect the EX6150 to it.&nbsp; I've reset to "factory settings" to start fresh (in fact several times) but the extender will not connect with the Linksys router.&nbsp; Any thoughts?

what firmware version are you on?&nbsp;
What method of setup are you using? WPS or the installation assistant?

When I sign into the extender the message says “The extender can’t connect to the router”. The extender’s Firmware Version is “V1.0.1.108”. I used the Web setup and not the WPS setup. I’m able to get into the extender. It “sees” the router and both os it’s SSID’s, but when I try to connect it trys for a minute or so and then the message appears.

If you're using any special characters or spaces in the ssid/password in your router, remove them.&nbsp;

I WAS using special characters in both my SSIDs and passwords.&nbsp; I removed all of them and now they are composed of only letters and numbers.&nbsp; I tried to connect the extender and it still will not work.&nbsp; I tried both the WPS method as well as the Web browser method.&nbsp; Neither worked.&nbsp; My extender is plugged in about 15 feet from the router.&nbsp; I have also reset the extender to "Factory Settings" several times but to no avail.&nbsp; I don't think the router is blocking the MAC addresses, as I don't see the extender MAC address in the client list on my router, unless it rejects the extender and removes the MAC address.&nbsp; Crazy question, but I assume that a Netgear extender can connect to a Linksys router.&nbsp; Right?

Looks like that router is an "easy mesh" router. Not sure exactly what that entails with linksys but are you able to go into the router and disable that feature?&nbsp;
