Connect extender on community wi-fi/internet

After sending my message, I was able to get my desktop, printer, IPad, and Surface on the Extender 2 GHZ network. However, the internet service which I receive in my apartment via Wi-Fi network isn't available on this network; and I am unable to connect to the internet with the extender network. In other words, I don't know how to add the Wi-Fi provided signal (over which I have no physical access or control) to the 2 GHZ extender band. Please help!
