Connect M1100 to hotel wifi

Hi All,

Can the M1100 be used as a travel router in hotels, connected via wifi to the hotel router, if so, how do I do this?

      Hi Ali1968,

      Good day!

      Welcome to NETGEAR Community!

Thank you for reaching out. We are sorry for not being able to get back to you immediately. Regarding your concern, the MR1100 can only get via Simcard or hardwired to the main modem or router. With your setup, it is not possible to use the MR1100 to connect to the main wifi of the hotel. You may need to get a wireless extender for this matter preferably the one that supports Captive portal. Unfortunately non of our Netgear extenders support this feature.

I have a router in my hotel room. I have connected my MR1100 to it via ethernet cable but the captive portal still has my MR1100 disabled. is there a way around this?
