It'll work but the EX7700 thats hardwired in would need to be in access point mode and not extender mode. Otherwise it won't setup when hardwired in.
(but its smart roaming functions get disabled in AP mode).
Usually if people are needing a mix of hardwired connections and more than 1 extender, we recommend they move to a full mesh system like orbi or the mk nighthawk. I'd also recommend the triband versions over dual band
