connecting ip camera questions
i have 13 ip cameras on my network and they seem to be always stopping. so i'm wondering if my modem is overloaded? so maybe i need to get a router just for my cameras and connect them to that router...

1. How are you viewing your cameras (locally or over the Internet)?
2. What is your subscription speed?
3. Adding a router to the existing setup may not help since the C3700 may still end up as a bottleneck. You may be better off using a stand-alone modem and a separate router with better bandwidth.

2. What is your subscription speed? 4g is 25 mbps if i can get them on 5g it is 60 mbps. but last year i was at 25 mbps and they seemed to work better. might be i have more on it now. the modem says 25 devices.

Your internet service is through a cellular network (LTE 4G or 5G)?
Can you try browsing to speedtest.net on a PC, and tell us what your upload speed is? Try running it a couple of times (spaced out over the day), and give us the range.
