Connecting r7000 to xfinity hotspot?

I am an xFinity customer and have cable in one home, but only access to a nearby xfinity hotspot in my second home; and I only get the signal in one corner of the house.  Is there any way to use my R7000 router to pick up the hotspot signal and broadcast it throughout my home?

    You'll need 3rd party firmware (e.g. Tomato, Asuswrt-Merlin or DD-WRT) in order to use the R7000 as a range extender.
