Connection to wifi network requiring username
The wifi network requires me to enter username and password to access it. Can the Netgear extender Model EX2700 access this type of network?

so a little more info needed.
Most networks require a ssid/password to log into it. Is this what you're referring to or once you connect to the network, it requires a login to use it? If so, that'd be a WISP mode device you need and netgear hasnt made one with that mode in over a decade.

I'm trying to hook up a wireless camera which cannot cannot to the network at my mom's residence. The wireless network there requires a username. So the first time I hooked up my my smartphone, I chose the wireless network there, then instead of simply putting a password (as is typical of my home network and many others), I was required to put a username (assigned to my mom) and a password. Now every time I go there I'm automatically on the network. However, the wireless camera is incapable of connecting to this network. It's always worked seamlessly so I'm assuming it's because of this username step. Does the N300 have the capability to do this through the wifiext.net portal?

No. I'm betting its a captive portal and would require something with wisp mode.
