Connection to wifi network requiring username
The wifi network requires me to enter username and password to access it. Can the Netgear extender Model EX2700 access this type of network?

so a little more info needed.
Most networks require a ssid/password to log into it. Is this what you're referring to or once you connect to the network, it requires a login to use it? If so, that'd be a WISP mode device you need and netgear hasnt made one with that mode in over a decade.

The fact remains that this extender connects to a wifi network via a password (WPA2). However, the current network requires a username and password (similar to a wireless connection at a hotel). Can this unit support this additional step (username??)

As I explained earlier. That implies its a captive portal. That would require WISP mode. It won't support wisp mode.
