Connection

I couldn't find my category: AC1200 WIFI Range Extender Model EX5000. Is new (received Thursday). The specs show compatibilty with with 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi adapter. My adapter is Realtek RTL8188EE.

 

I update the adapter through HP site.. The notebook (HP Envy 17 model 17t-j000) cann't connected to the extender. Thanks.

    1. did you set it up via wps or using the installation assistant? (I'd highly recommend factory resetting the extender and using the installation assistant if you used wps. )

    2. What error are you getting trying to connect? Or does it not see the signal at all?

    3. What router are you connecting to?

    4. Any other devices having issues connected?
