I have two EX8000 range extenders. One appears to be working fine but the other one is frequently rebooting itself. The extender that is rebooting itself is basically in-line-of-sight with my router ...

A couple questions.
1. what router are you connecting them to?
2. what method of setup did you use? WPS or the installation assistant?
3. Are you setting them up daisy chained or in a star configuration?
Daisy: router------>extender------>extender
Star: Extender<--------router--------->extender
4. What firmware is on each extender?
5. How do you know its rebooting?

- The modem/router is a COX Communications Panoramic router made Technicolor.
- I used the installation assistant.
- My intention is to set it up in a star configuration.
- As far as I know, the latest. It updated when I first connected them to network.
- When all of the lights are flashing on and off.
Thanks,

what router is it? Technicolor makes a lot of routers. some work well. Others are garbage
"the latest" isn't a firmware number. And assuming can cause be incorrect.
What actual firmware version is on both extenders?

The modem/router is a Technicolor CGM414X
Both extenders have firmware V1.0.1.238 and one of them works fine.
