Customer Service
Is is just me? Or does Netgear have the worst customer service known to man??? I have an extender, my phone app says it can't be located, I can't connect to the web page that says it's up and runn...

many people dont' call actual support. If you googled for a number, you didn't get netgear and more than likely got 1 of the scam/con sites out there.
To get netgear support you have to click mynetgear at the top, register and account and your device. From there you can contact support. Keep in mind that support is only free for the first 90 days of purchase on new products.
What extender are you using?
What firmware is on it?
What router are you using?
What actual issue are you having with it? details help since we aren't there to see/observer what the issue is, what you've done to fix it, and any other details you know about it.

I indeed did get Netgear Customer Support as they sent me a survey and sveral emails with case numbers.
I have had the extender for 2 months. It has worked fine most of the time. A couple of times a netgear login popped up as the extender was not connected and I had to reconnect. Wifi seems to have been spotty the last couple of days and yesterday the netgear login popped up again. However, this time it would not accept my login. I went to the webpage I usually go to to see if the extender is "up and running" the page will not load. I went to the phone app and it says that the extender cannot be located on my wifi network. Tech support rep said that the app is not reliable and because all the lights are illuminated on the extender that it is working although he could not tell me any way to verify that it is. You tell me if that seems logical?
