Default Management VLAN1 on WAG102/FS728TS
I am scratching my head as to how I can access the management functions on a WAG102 (set as VLAN1 by default and cannot be changed) on a Netgear WAP (WAG102).
I have the WAG102 using multiple BSSID mapped to several VLANs. I am using the 802.1Q option on the WAP.
While I am able to set the port on the Netgear Switch (FS728TS) to Tagged for the various VLANs I am using with the SSIDs I am not able to set VLAN1 as Tagged in the switch (the firmware prevents this) and therefore cannot communicate over the port to the the management page of the WAP.
Am I missing something or is this a 'Feature'?
Everything else seems to be OK. I can access the WAP management screen via the WiFi SSID but this is no good if you want to manage the WAP via the ethernet.
Any ideas?
