determine if certain ports are open
As I know enough about all of this to be dangerous, I need to determine if ports UDP 500, UDP 4500 and UDP123 are open. Can someone please give me step by step instructions on how to do this? It is a Netgears Genie WNR2000v3. Thanks! I am attempting to use a 4G Cellspot and since it is not setting up automatically, this is the first step to see why before calling my cell phone carrier.

You set the IP address to the public IP address of your router.
Thank you so much for the link. As it turns out, the cell spot that was sent to me is defective and a replacement is being sent. I will hold onto the information you provided just in case I have an issue other than an equipment failure.
