DGN2200 corrupted firmware
Due to issues with my internet connection I tried to update the firmware of my Router DGN2200MB. I accidently updated to a firmware of the DGN2200B (DGN2200B-V1.0.0.36_7.0.36) and since then I have no more access to the router interface to flash back to the correct firmware. I can not tell if the flash was successful, because during flashing I was not at the computer – but I’m very sure, that there was disconnect between PC and router nor a power failure on the router site.
I already tried to do a hard reset – by turning the router off, pressing the reset button and turning it back on while holding the reset button for 30 sec. I also tried the 30 – 30 – 30 hard reset as described for example on DD-WRT website. I also tried the erase the nvram by means of telnet commands. This gave me not much feedback at all except for a black command line – so I’m not sure if it actually changed anything in the routers firmware.
The router itself still has its DHCP Server function but seems to be missing the correct login information for my ISP and is not responding when I’m calling his IP address or the default address: www.routerlogin.net. Furthermore it keeps broadcasting the SSID of the former wireless LAN and detects the presence of a functional ADSL line when the cable is plugged into it.
Is there a chance to force the router back to “complete” factory default or to flash the firmware without using the webbased interface?

But I have the same Problem. I'm installed the Firmeware from a DGN2200B on a DGN2200MB. So now I don't have access to thr Web GUI. I contact the Support, but the help isn't helpful.
Can anybody say me how I can flash the orginal Firmware on the Device.
The Device is new and never used! :eek: - loading other model's firmware will brick the unit
if the CD came with the unit has reovery utility try that.. or use TFTP method

if this still fail. contact support and if they can RMA exchange - hello jmizoguchi,
for this modell there is no CD included. The TFTP methode did not work or i'm to stupid for. I try the TFTP methode the last two night and notthing happen, only the error "no host avaible" after a 60 sek.
So i do a RMA - RMA are probably the best way if TFTP still gives you an issues
