DGN2200 Just updated to Firmware to ver 36NA and wirless stopped working - Help
Saw that I was way out of date on the firmware version so I allowed the Netgear Router Manger (www.routerlogin.net) to update it.
The update looked like it completed without any problems but my two wireless laptops no longer will connect. They both show the router available to connect but fail the connection attempt. They were both connected right before I did the firmware update.
Hardwired computers were not affected, they still have access.
Anybody know what I need to do to resolve this problem?
Thank you in advance

- The_DukeAspirantCouple more details:
This is a DGN2200V1
Using WPA2-PSK (AES)
Looking at uploading the original firmware version to try and fix - question, the firmware file that I downloaded had a file type of .chk but the instructions to upload refer to a .img file type - jmizoguchiVirtuosodon't worry about it . just login the router and upload the firmware. if for any reason it does not like it will error out
- The_DukeAspirantUploaded the original firmware version (V1.0.0.20_4.0.20NA) and didn't change a thing. Wireless devices still see my access point but cannot connect to it.
What else would an update have touched? - The_DukeAspirantJust to end this story, it was my fault. I had messed around with the wireless access list option and had some how selected the option but hadn't added the laptops. I was adding a 3rd laptop for work that was asking me for an access key instead of the phrase that I was expecting. Wasted a night but I learned a few things.

you must HARD RESE the router after the flashing firmware. - jmizoguchiVirtuoso

access key or passphrase sorta same. what make different is WEP will use HEX code and WPA/WPA2 uses passphrase. :)
