I know you can separate them out but I don't think you can entirely disable it.
Why are you trying to do this?
I have a Chromecast that keeps jumping to the 2.4 GHz channel. And it doesn't perform well on the 2.4 gigahertz channel so I want to disable it so it only connects to the 5 GHz
