Does EX7000 support Bridge mode?
Does EX7000 support Bridge mode? Switching network infrastructure to Netgear products and looking for a device capable of WLAN AC in bridge mode. http://www.netgear.com/home/discover/gaming/ Ha...

Just bought a R7500v2 instead since the documentation doesn't support the claim of Bridge mode on the EX7000.

Yes, all Netgear range extenders with an Ethernet port support Bridge mode, including the EX7000. See the section Connect Ethernet-enabled devices on page 18 of the EX7000 manual.

But is it possible to configure the EX7000 as a bridge only? (ie so that the EX7000 connects to a wireless router as a client, AP and Extender functionality turned off)

An extender is a bridge.

Let me clarify my question. I'm wondering if the EX7000 can bridge wired devices connected to it without bridging wireless clients. (I see from the manual it has an AP mode but not how I want to implement it). In my use case I already have a R7000(wireless router) and an R8000 (AP). I would like to connect a couple of PCs wirelessly without having to buy wireless adapters for each of them. I know another R7000 could be used to bridge devices hard wired to it without also acting like an acess point; which would interfere with the two existing APs. Can an EX7000 be configured to work the same as a R7000 in bridge mode?

Yes, the EX7000 can bridge both wired and wireless clients over Wi-Fi to your router. That is the default mode. AP mode is a separate mode that bridges both wired and wireless clients over Ethernet to the router. The EX7000 supports both modes of operation.
