Does the NETGEAR Nighthawk X4 AC2200 work well if placed far away from the modem?
I need a dual band wifi extender to reach a room in a basement. The modem is in the ground level, so they will be far apart. Is the NETGEAR Nighthawk X4 AC2200 EX7300 adecuate for this use, or should...
Either will work. If you go with an extender, be sure to get one that supports Access Point mode. Not all do. The EX7000 and EX7300 should be ok, but double check the online manuals.
