EAX20 replacement power adapter

Can the power adapter of the EAX20 be replaced?

Recently I bought the EAX20 from a  major sellers returns  inventory but the box missed the adapter.

Is the PAV12V a good replacement?

If not so, what are the power adapter specs I should look for?

Thanks for helping me out.

Kind regards.

  • Its a 12v power supply. Neither the manual or tech specs say what the actual amp needs are. The router RAX20 needs a 2.5amp supply so I'd imagine this would be similar. So long as you have AT LEAST the same amps, you should be good. You can have more, just not less. I've swapped supplies around quite a few times and never had issues.

Find a compatible power supply adapter that matches the volts and amp specs for the extender. Information should be seen in the spec sheet or user manual.

Might find something on Amazon or online etailer by search for EAX20 power adapter.

While the PAC12V will probably work, there is one product on Amazon that claims EAX20 compatibility in the description:
